According to Mormon Glenn Beck,
“I share your faith. I am from a different denomination. And a denomination that I’m sure can make many people at Liberty uncomfortable—I’m a Mormon—but I share your faith in the atonement of the Savior Jesus Christ.” (source)
To my Bible believing Christian readers, do you find this as offensive as I do? Continued dialogue with Mormon leaders will result in more Mormon lies being taught to our kids in college. What Mormon leader Glenn Beck said is a lie that has been perpetrated for decades, even the US military chaplaincy program treated Mormons as Protestants! I experienced that fact first-hand, and now here it is again openly shared in what I thought was supposed to be a Christian university! Perhaps they are joining with Mormons as well as Benny Hinn too!?
To anyone at Liberty University, when did you hand the keys to the hen house to the wolves?
As for my savior’s blood atonement not the Mormon’s concept please consider the fine work done by Mormon Research Ministry exposing the many lies of Mormon teaching. In particular this quote from their site regarding the Mormon view of salvation and atonement it is a sharp contrast of the non-Christian Mormon cult to that of Biblical Christianity.
“7. You’re Saved By Works
More than any other Mormon lie, this undermines Christ’s atonement, which is the most sacred doctrine of the Bible. Mormons usually equate salvation with resurrection. Likewise, they refer to eternal life as “exaltation.” I did both while teaching prospective converts. I relished the church’s third Article of Faith, which claims, “through the atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.”
Trying to bridge the doctrinal divide between Mormons and Christians, I emphasized that salvation is by grace “after all we can do” (2 Nephi 25:23). What classic Mormon double-talk. Unmistakably, the Bible says eternal life is a gift from God (Romans 5:15; 6:23) to those who believe in Christ (John 6:47), call upon Him (Romans 10:13) and receive Him as Lord and Savior (John 1:12). Contrary to Mormon dogma, this gift cannot be awarded meritoriously.” (source)
If you are considering sending your kids to LU, I hope you take a really hard look since there is such a huge lack of discernment!

Yes, I find it offensive. I used to listen to Glenn Beck’s radio program because politically I think he has some good insight into the creeps in Washington, etc. When I started to hear that he was speaking at various churches, it rubbed me wrong. After seeing it happen more and more I quit listening to him a few years ago.
