Left Behind with “The Chosen”!

Wolf-in-Sheeps-Clothing

Much has already been said opposing the series called The Chosen and until recently I have chosen to sit on the sidelines of the controversy surrounding it and its numerous Mormon connections (and numerous other issues). To argue that they are not partnered with Mormons in the production is to ignore the elephant in the room as they say. The second season was shot on a set owned by the Mormons and used exclusively by them yet some try to say in spite of that (among other Mormon connections) there are gems of knowledge to be gained by watching this series giving a blind eye and passive nod to their Mormon brothers and sisters!? – Okay, Dallas Jenkins says he is not a Mormon but in the next breath talks about the Mormon Jesus is the same as his Jesus. I have heard his line of reasoning before but I will leave it to the scriptures to blow this out of the water,

Ephesians 1:6-10 (KJV) “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any [man] preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. 10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. 11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.”

The Mormon/LDS gospel is after the “man” Joseph Smith bringing the word of his so-called angel Moroni, degrading and blaspheming the God of Heaven with their own accursed gospel that is not a gospel but a cult. Jenkins casually crosses the line with his comments and these are not one-time things or a slip of the tongue, he has said he sinks or swims in his defense of Mormons! As a Christian, I will have NOTHING to do with “The Chosen” series except to call out to serious Bible-believing Christians to abandon watching another episode unless they are doing it to show how dangerous it is.

The Chosens Jesus
Faux-Jesus of Chosen and LDS-Mormons

The fact that so many “tribes” as said in one of the interviews can all get in one tent and not fight about it shows how unifying THEIR FAUX-JESUS IS that is as dangerous as it gets! Did Christ come to unite us under one banner and say all semblance of sound doctrine be damned – OR THOSE WHO PRESENT ANOTHER JESUS, or ANOTHER GOSPEL!? At what point Christian do you say a little leaven in what is presented is okay… do I need to quote those scriptures for you too!? Others will argue how much they are learning about Jesus through the series all the while giving Jenkins a pass to work with his Mormon and Roman Catholic buddies… enough said. Here are some links I recommend to open your eyes and widen your knowledge of why I am so condemning of “The Chosen.”
