I find myself in utter amazement when I hear the question “What’s wrong with it?” from individuals who claim a true Christian testimony as it relates to so-called Christian themed movies, music, TV shows, books and etc. The fact that these were created by people who have no knowledge of true Christianity is telling in and of itself. To prove that point, Jesus says; “I am the way, the truth and the life, no man cometh unto the Father but by me” John 14:6. Yet the world calls many faiths “Christian,” not understanding that most do not hold to Jesus’ words. To the world the word Christian is a generic term for many beliefs, and or almost any person claiming a religious experience. Even some in the media and entertainment sector who claim to have a Christian testimony do not take the time to make sure their version of Biblical accounts is accurate according to God’s word. It is especially heart-wrenching to hear the question “what’s wrong with it?” from one who has claimed a personal relationship with Jesus for many years, and yet does not see, or is not willing to see the error which is blatantly abundant. Sadly, it is taken a step further by many to praise, ignore and justify the error by saying that God’s word will not return unto him void, even if it is misused. The ends do not justify the means! In this age we live in, there are few who take God’s word to heart and actually do their best to live by it. II Timothy 2:15 says “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” Acts 17:11 “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”
The true Christian society is growing increasingly apathetic and frankly, just plain lazy in their diligence to search the scriptures once in a while, let alone daily. If this were not the case, there would be a greater outcry in the world’s erroneous depiction and mockery of Christianity. It seems the psycho-babble from the world that you always have to be positive, loving and tolerant has saturated people’s brains to the point they either can no longer discern the truth, or they simply don’t have the desire to. The truth is, there is negativity in this world and there always will be. Turning a blind eye will not make it go away nor will it solve anything. The truth can be negative just because it is uncomfortable to hear, or because it reveals what we don’t want to recognize. It comes down to this, you will see the truth for what it is and stand by it, or you won’t. Should you decide to stand for truth keep this in mind—being loving and tolerant does not mean taking a back seat to everything decent and moral in order to satisfy the world’s rebellious and sinful nature. Since when should true Christians let the world dictate God’s principles, and tell them that they are wrong to act on them? If you live by God’s principles then you do not live by the world’s. When you hear someone ask “What’s wrong with it?” what they are truly saying is “I don’t see anything wrong with it,” in which you should reply “What’s right with it and why don’t you see anything wrong?” Most of the error and mockery is so in your face, Christians should be ashamed of themselves for not seeing it, or standing against it when they do see it.
When it comes to God’s word there is no room for error or the blindness of it. Neither is there room to appease those who would not hear in an attempt to please them. If you are asked, “Why do you always have to find something wrong with everything; why can’t you just accept it and not be so negative?” Because God said to rightly divide the word of truth. Ask yourselves, why is truth the target at which the arrow of negativity is being shot rather than the error, where it should be directed?
Why aren’t there more Christians rightly dividing the word of truth and unashamedly speaking up for it? Can it be they have been walking down the world’s path for so long they don’t know what the truth is anymore? If not, why are there so many afraid to make the truth be known? The truth will divide! Which would you rather be recognized for; knowing the truth and standing up for it even if it means standing among only a faithful few, or staying quiet and do nothing in order to be viewed as a positive person and earn praise from the faithless majority? We can all be peacemakers, but not at the expense of hiding, denying, ignoring, or justifying, the truth.
The wide path is for all those who want to follow the crowd; unconcerned where the path leads or who they are following. True and honest discernment will lead you down the narrow path of wisdom in life while you continue to learn and stand on the truths of God’s word.

So much to beware! Don’t be the next sucker to be caught in the snares of these greedy wolves! Save your money and support a Bible believing local church.
You have spoken my heart, my soul, my mind. Praise God there is someone feeling the same things I feel…. We are most definitely on the same page!

Sorry for being slow in responding thank you for your kind words!
Wish I could find a good local church. Mine offers Beth Moore studies as a way to grow the women of the church. I’ve pointed out her heresies to no avail. Next my Sunday school teacher recommended the son of god movie, I corrected her in front of the whole class as did another sister. Doubt it will do any good. I am very discouraged.
