The Greatest Leaders LISTEN!

Thinking of God, do you believe he listens to you? 

Do you pray and talk with Him every day or night? 

Do you believe He hears your song in the night? 

Does He hear you when you are in pain or in any kind of trouble? 

“Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice” Psalm 55:17.

“The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles” Psalm 34:17. 

“Yet the LORD will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life” Psalm 42:8.

HE is the greatest leader – and HE listens to it all! – Even you!

Psalm 8:1” O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.”

If you are called to lead – then YOU are called to listen! And to LISTEN MORE! 

“Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath” (James 1:19).

Leaders, YOU are a servant to servants, 

You are bondservants if you are called. 

“And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all” Mark 10:44.

“For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake” 2 Corinthians 4:5.

“Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock” 1 Peter 5:3.

You carry a ‘weighty’ weight, but remember you serve a greater God who carries the load! 

“Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved” Psalm 55:22.

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light” Matthew 11:28–30.

You must ever remind yourselves that HE listens! You can lean on Christ; HE sticks closer than a brother! 

“A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother” Proverbs 18:24.

“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you” 1 Peter 5:7.

So in all you do, you MUST, absolutely MUST LISTEN to God! How? By His written Word! 

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” Psalm 119:105.

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works” 2 Timothy 3:16–17.
