Redeemed! Oh, What Does That Mean!?

RisenFromGraveRedeemed! Oh, what does that mean!? Redeemed but I was never worth a thing! Who is He that reached to the ground and raised me from the dust? Who is He that He saw value in a handful of dirt?

Without Christ, what am I? Oh to praise the One who sought me out while I was dead! Jesus is the One who brought redemption’s light to this dark, dead, and despicable soul!

Jesus the Redeemer, Grace given, Salvation assured!

What value did I have before? Every breath on this Earth borrowed, Every heartbeat is a gift, Such amazing grace was given, Free grace poured out from Heaven!

When I realize what I was as a lost man, Saved from being damned, Saved from my senseless ways, Then suddenly it seemed no longer lost but found and redeemed!

Without Christ, I know what I was and am no longer, I am now redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, Made into something beyond my imagination, A co-heir in Jesus! A son of the Creator! He had planned it all along before the world began! To be redeemed is to know our true value without God,

And then to know what it means to be raised from our living death to new life! Being redeemed is to experience God’s love and grace, And believe His promises knowing only His joy and peace!

Galatians 4:2-7  “But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.”

Titus 2:14  “Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.”
