The rock singer’s song “Bad Moon Rising” has as much truth as the latest “blood moons” coming from the propheteers (deliberate play on profiteers) from such teachers as John Hagee, those running Prophecy News Watch (advertised “The Blood Moon Prophecy” this week) and the cultish Hebrew Roots movement.
Without going into this latest pseudo-prophetical teaching, I simply believe it is more nonsense complete with sign seeking and date setting comparable to that of debunked Harold Camping.
Don’t be a BLIND SHEEP and send these people your money! 
LISTEN to the Great Shepherd Jesus Christ who succinctly answers such utter nonsense with a SHARP REBUKE to the spiritual leaders (Pharisees) of that time not once but TWICE:
Matthew 12:38-40 “Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee. But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”
Matthew 16:3-4 “And in the morning, [It will be] foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O [ye] hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not [discern] the signs of the times? A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.”
These ridiculous notions about the blood moons are just more ploys as many in the past to fleece the naïve’ Christian of their money!
SAVE YOUR MONEY or support a good solid Bible Believing church that is not filling its member’s heads with false prophecies such as this and many others. Keep your eyes on Jesus, read your Bible and share the Gospel with all who will listen and stay away from such fables purported to announce the Lord’s return. He WILL return in HIS time not ours.

I have heard from other friends the source of this latest barrage of blood moons are from the Hebrew Roots Movement which presents many other dangers including cult like tendencies. Other friends have posted warnings about John Hagee’s heretical teachings, those are another matter – beware! As for Prophecy News Watch, watch who they’re endorsing including those with the weird teachings of the Nephilim and more.

Blood Moons, Pretrib Rapture, Etc.
Heard of the coming blood moons? Is the pretrib rapture symbolized by anything in the heavens?
Hal Lindsey, influenced by occultic astrology, asserts on p. 124 in “The Late Great Planet Earth” that the famous Sphinx in Egypt has the head of a “woman” – even though encyclopedias say it’s the head of a “man”! Hal’s plagiarism on that page of a 19th century British theologian is his acceptance of the occultic Virgo-to-Leo theory – a “Christian” zodiac arbitrarily starting with Virgo (Virgin Mary) and ending with Leo (Christ returning as “Lion,” Rev. 5:5).
Those who swallow this guesswork often see Ursa Minor (part of Cancer which precedes Leo) as a heavenly “symbol” of a pretrib rapture!
Pretribs also insist on separating the “church” from “Israel” – but when you aren’t looking (or thinking) they blithely “prove” pretrib by the Jewish feasts in Leviticus, the stages of a Hebrew wedding (Google “Pretrib Rapture: A Staged Event”), and the one “taken” and the other “left” in “Jewish” Matthew 24.
Amazingly, Jewishness (and even anti-Jewishness) has been uncovered even in pretrib dispensationalism’s 19th century foundation (Google “Roots of Warlike Christian Zionism”)!
The current “blood moons” craze (promoted by lunar persons including rock musician Scottie Clarke and John Hagee) is tied to – you guessed it – the same old Jewish feast days.
Yes, there’s something colored red in the future of the church, but I don’t have moons in mind. What will really turn red will be the collective faces of many when it finally dawns on them that their any-moment fly-away was nothing more than an end time hoax!
