Oh Lord, keep my mind closer to yours,
Keep my heart sensitive to all around me,
Draw me to those I can help in Your Holy Name!

So many in pain,
So many wondering lost,
So many not understanding this crazy world,
How is it I know peace inside me?

What is it that sets me apart?
Do I need to deconstruct what I know is in my heart?
No! We are different once we know what we are a part of
– The family of God!
Those who know their Maker!
Those who know their God chose them from the trillions!

We are not in a post-Christian world though our society has lost hope,
We must never lose sight of who we serve,
Keeping our eyes on the goal,
Of becoming more each day like our Lord Jesus Christ!

Oh that I may somehow be a beacon in the night,
Oh that I may somehow be a lighthouse to those on rough seas of life!
May even one of those lost souls come my way,
So I might shed light on their path by the way of the Word!
May I be a hope bringer in a world lost and in despair!

Where are you today my reader?
Where is your heart, where is your mind? Is it on Christ?
Is their hope for the future inside?
Are you at peace? Do you have a joy that no one can deprive?

If not, Jesus’ call still rings out today!
“Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
Believe in Him while you may!

Matthew 11:28-30  “Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke [is] easy, and my burden is light.”

Isaiah 45:22  “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I [am] God, and [there is] none else.”
