Unto That Day

Speechless, I lay before His throne.
Awestruck, astonished, and joyfully amazed!
When my eyes were opened, and the clouds were emptied from the skies!
Who am I, what am I and where am I going!?

Every fiber of my being cries out in a heavenly song, Jesus is Lord!
Who is it that persuaded me!?
Who dragged me out of my rebellion against God!?
Who pried by blind eyes open and made me to see!?
Why did you choose this wicked man and set me free!?
I deserved Hell, never Heaven – yet You reached down from Your throne,
And saved even me!!!

There is nothing that sets me apart,
Nothing that makes me special, only in the Creator’s eyes was there a start,
Somehow, for some reasons I may never fully see – He chose this little insignificant, me!

Beautiful loving persuasion away from a dark eternity in ugly seas of misery,
From out of this world He reaches in,
Breathes in new life where I begin again!
Into the most peaceful feelings, contentment and inexpressible joy,
Because I know!

2 Timothy 1:12 “For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.”
